On July 3, HAS Green Academy organized a digital knowledge session on soil, biodiversity, nature-inclusive agriculture, and climate-resilient landscapes. Nature multiplier and professor Daan Groot also presented the chair on the Profitability of Nature-Inclusive Agriculture. Student Linde Horree shared insights from the student research conducted this year, including her own study on collaboration between TBOs (Temporary Agricultural Organizations), governments, and farmers. Trust and perspective emerged as key themes. Engaging in conversations in the field and on the farm helps with this, and we have done so extensively in recent years, as shown in the photo above at De Hilver. About the Knowledge Session on Soil, Biodiversity, Nature-Inclusive Agriculture, and Climate-Resilient Landscapes
This program is organized collaboratively by the research chairs on Innovative Biomonitoring, Climate-Resilient Landscapes, Profitability for Nature-Inclusive Agriculture, and A Living Soil Works! Through these research programs, HAS Green Academy connects education, professional practice, and applied research on socially relevant topics. The knowledge sessions also feature students who have conducted relevant research within these programs.
The Province of North Brabant supports this webinar as it aligns with its ambitions, as outlined in the Agricultural and Food Policy Framework 2030. The province aims to be a leader in innovation, digitization, closing loops, and smart business models in agri-food, working together with governments, businesses, educational institutions, and research organizations.
