By organizing nature competition ‘’de Groene Kroon’’, the province of Utrecht encourages everyone to protect the valuable nature in Utrecht. The theme of 2019: nature in and around the built environment.
For this second edition, Nature^Squared has again been asked to help to organize the competition and to provide substantive and process-based support. Our reach-out has led to 55 submissions, after which the jury has nominated twelve initiatives. These initiatives will continue to the next round and are still in the running to win the nature prize worth € 6.000. The jury will announce the winners on 18 September 2019.
