Our colleague Iris Visser has been officially accredited as a trainer to help organizations integrate nature and biodiversity into their business operations.
She successfully completed the “Natural Capital for Business Decision-Making On the Path to Nature Positive and Net Zero” train-the-trainer program developed by Capitals Coalition and Social Value International. The program aims to train global trainers who can deliver impactful training sessions for companies looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in integrating natural capital into their operations.
“I’m pleased to have participated in the train-the-trainer program ‘Natural Capital for Business Decision-Making On the Path to Nature Positive and Net Zero’ by Capitals Coalition and Social Value International. I really enjoyed exchanging knowledge and experiences with a diverse group of sustainability professionals from around the world. The importance of natural capital for businesses is clear. Operational and transition risks are becoming more apparent, and even now, in the context of unclear regulations, it’s crucial for companies to set a clear course and be future-proof.
The training content was already familiar to me, as we previously developed training for Capitals Coalition around natural capital. But the train-the-trainer provided great tips and tricks for delivering the training and making it relevant for different contexts: depending on the type of company, sector, and geographic location.
