Ethan joined De Natuurverdubbelaars last month as a biodiversity policy and finance intern! Having recently completed his Master’s in Development Studies at the International Institute of Social Sciences in Den Haag, he is passionate about the political economy of agriculture and food systems. Before turning to policy, he spent years cooking professionally and volunteering on farms from Spain to Nepal.
At Nature^Squared, he is working with Dutch and international partners on designing innovative approaches to biodiversity finance. He hopes the experience will deepen his understanding of Dutch and EU policy processes and how private finance can be mobilised for nature-based solutions.
